Salmon documentary to be shown at Medford library Nov 24, 2014 12:00 AM A A A documentary chronicling the efforts of a Northern California Native American tribe's efforts to reintroduce salmon into the McCloud River will be shown from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave. The film shows the efforts of the Winnemem Wintu Tribe to restock the river's waters with salmon from local genetic stocks shipped to New Zealand. A discussion on the film will follow. The free event is open to everyone.
