Ashland police arrested Collins Monday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and methamphetamine possession, and on misdemeanor charges of possessing burglary tools and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. Theft — Deries Renald Pires, 44, of the 2200 block of Highway 99 North, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Pires Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Darla LeeAnn Cheek, 25, of the 100 block of North De Anjou Avenue, Eagle Point. Phoenix police arrested Cheek Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine possession, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a concealed weapon charge. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Amanda Kathrine Jensen, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Jensen Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, and on a sanction for a previous meth-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Drugs — Travis James Christy, 31, of the 2200 block of Gene Cameron Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Christy Tuesday on a felony charge of heroin possession and on a sanction charging parole violation on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Court Appearance — Michael Brent Larson, 52, of the 500 block of Black Oak Drive, Central Point. On Tuesday, Larson made his initial court appearance on a felony charges of manufacturing marijuana, conspiracy to manufacture marijuana, distributing marijuana, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and possessing greater than 4 ounces of marijuana. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Robert Wayne Thorpe Jr., 58, of the 1100 block of East 10th Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Thorpe made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Donald Lee Edwards, 61, of the 2800 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. On Tuesday, Edwards made his initial court appearance on felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Tracey Elaine Brown, 44, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Brown Friday on felony charges of hydrocodone possession and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and on a misdemeanor warrant charging failure to report to jail on a previous driving under the influence of intoxicants conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:23 a.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Alameda Street. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous Craftsman sockets and wrenches, and a Les Schwab 60-month car battery. The loss was valued at $1,120. Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of United Way. Items reported stolen included a Karcher pressure washer, Craftsman lawnmower, Craftsman edger, hose with four-wheel cart, shovels and assorted equipment and a True Value plastic wheelbarrow. The loss was valued at $1,140. Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Biddle Road. Items reported stolen included six dark blue Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphones, miscellaneous rings and watches and several pairs of jeans. The loss was valued at $5,000.
