Medford police Tuesday arrested Vargas on felony charges of heroin possession and supplying contraband, and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was lodged Tuesday at the Jackson County Jail and held on $16,000 bail. Drugs — Dustin Michael Sesock, 28, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Sesock on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and parole violation on a strangulation charge. He was lodged Wednesday at the jail and held without bail. Theft — Karen Elizabeth Alexandra Kappel, 23, no known address. Eagle Point police Wednesday arrested Kappel on a felony charge of first-degree theft, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft, and a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree theft charge. She was booked Wednesday in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — John Joseph Murphy, 33, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Murphy on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and parole a violation on an identity theft conviction. He was lodged Wednesday in the jail and held without bail. Coercion — Mathew Levi Wehde, 19, of the 100 block of Orr Drive, Central Point. Medford police Wednesday arrested Wehde on a felony charge of coercion, and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and strangulation, and a failure to appear warrant on a charge of interfering with a police officer. He was lodged Wednesday in the jail and held on $19,000 bail. Assault — Richard Wayne Stepp Jr., 33, of the 2300 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Stepp on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. he was lodged Wednesday in the jail and held on $20,000 bail.
