Medford police arrested Ham Wednesday on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and possession of a destructive device. Jackson County Circuit Court also charged Ham Thursday with felony charges of identity theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, methamphetamine possession, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $115,000 bail. Attempted Elude — Matthew Daniel McCormick, 41, of the 100 block of Manzanita Street, Central Point. Oregon State Police arrested McCormick Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $5,000 bail. Court Appearance — Ozzie Olearie Allen, 26, of the 700 block of Diamond Street, Medford. On Thursday, Allen made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Scott Alan Bigelow, 29, of the 2700 block of Corey Road, Central Point. On Thursday, Bigelow made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of coercion, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Angel David Sanchez-Gallardo, 24, of the 800 block of West 11th Street, Medford. On Thursday, Sanchez-Gallardo made his initial court appearance on three felony counts of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Kelly Ann Moran, 44, of the 500 block of South Second Street, Talent. On Thursday, Moran made her initial court appearance on felony charges of aggravated identity theft, identity theft, four felony counts of first-degree theft and two misdemeanor counts of tampering with physical evidence. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Court Appearance — April Rae McComas, 48, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. On Thursday, McComas made her initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief and identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Burglary — Vance Phuc Nguyen, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Nguyen Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $28,000 bail. Court Appearance — Kenneth Russell Norman, 74, of the 1400 block of Redwood Circle, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Norman made his initial court appearance on three felony counts of first-degree rape, four felony counts of first-degree sodomy, two felony counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Stalking — Jerimy Robert Gates, 47, of the 600 block of Valley Heart Lane, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Gates Thursday on a felony charge of violating a stalking order, warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, stalking, second- and third-degree criminal mischief, and on an out-of-county warrant charging contempt. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $49,150 bail. Theft — Brett Devon Burns, 27, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Burns Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $10,000 bail. Crime reports Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Biddle Road. The vehicle's passenger-side door and trunk were reportedly keyed. The damage was valued at $1,200. Burglary — Medford police took a report of a burglary to a residence at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Whitman Avenue. Items reported stolen included approximately 500 rounds of mixed-caliber ammunition, a black and green pair of binoculars with chest harness, a Compaq laptop, a white and red Bluetooth headset, a gun with walnut stalk and a TV set. The loss was valued at $3,660.
