Rogue River crash kills Klamath Falls man Saturday Mar 17, 2018 at 5:51 PM Mar 17, 2018 at 5:51 PM A Klamath Falls man is dead after he reportedly lost control of the sports coupe he’d been driving and struck a power pole outside the city of Rogue River. Bruce Edward Brink, 85, died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash in the 4000 block of North River Road, according to a press release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. At 11:14 p.m. Friday, Brink lost control of his 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse while headed east. The vehicle reportedly veered on the right shoulder, then over-corrected across the oncoming lane, striking an embankment before rolling and striking a power pole. The crash ejected Brink from the vehicle, and he died at the scene, according to the release. Brink was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
