Medford police arrested Amaya Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was later charged with an additional count of methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and altering identification on a firearm, and for violating his probation on a felony fourth-degree assault conviction and a misdemeanor endangering conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $100,000 bail. Court Appearance — David Joseph McCullough, 26, no known address. On Wednesday, McCullough made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Donald William Smith Jr., 46, of the 300 block of Northeast C Street, Grants Pass. On Wednesday, Smith made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Shelby Mae Butterfield, 52, of the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. On Wednesday, Butterfield made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Assault — Dennis William Easley, 33, of the 300 block of South First Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Easley Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $8,000 bail. Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle — Brandon Charles Ceremony, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Ceremony Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Antonio Miranda Ledesma, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Ledesma Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear on felony charges possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, failure to appear on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, endangering, interfering with a police officer and attempting to elude on foot, and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for distributing cocaine. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Thomas James Stroh, 28, no known address. Oregon State Police arrested Stroh Wednesday on a felony charge of heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.
