Rosemary Lou "Rosie" Reisinger, 43, left her job at Sam Jennings Co., 229 N. Riverside Ave., Medford, at about 10 a.m. Monday to go to a doctor’s office, Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said. Reisinger had complained of a cold and an earache, he said. Reisinger hasn’t been seen or heard from since she left work at the business owned by her husband’s family, Moran said. Her concerned family called police Monday night. "We need to investigate this with maximum effort from the beginning," Moran said. Reisinger is a long-time Rogue Valley resident who went to high school in the area, Moran said. Her parents and two adult children live in the area. Reisinger is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, Wranglers and a black jacket with a Peterbilt logo printed on it. She was driving a 1983 gray and white Chevy Blazer with Oregon license plate PTB 358. Investigators and Reisinger’s family think she might have gone to a remote cabin in Lake County, Moran said. Police have notified law enforcement in Lake and Klamath counties to keep an eye out for her. Anyone with information can call Medford police Detective Terry Newell at 774-2230.
