Boxer Wyatt improves to 9-0 By Staff reports Sep 28, 1997 12:00 AM A A PORTLAND -- Daniel Boone Wyatt ran his record to 9-0 to help Medford'sBulldog Boxing Club to victory at the eight-team Knott Street Invitationalon Saturday at the Dishman Community Center. Wyatt, a 12-year-old, 80-pounder from Medford, won his match with a convincingfirst-round technical knockout over Rudy Valdez of Caldwell, Idaho. Medford's Ernest Johnson won his match at 142 pounds with a unanimousdecision over Tillamook's Louis Marquez. The Bulldogs' Lionel Leon won his 116-pound, Junior Olympic bout witha second-round TKO over Alfredo Paz of Caldwell. The Bulldogs' lone defeat came in the 132-pound class, where Medford'sJo Jo Picasso lost a three-round decision to Salem's James Ramos. Today'sSports Index,
