On Thursday, Striplin made her initial court appearance on felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance. Supplying Contraband — Phillip Leo Murandanes, 40, of Fresno, Calif. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Murandanes Thursday on additional felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing heroin. Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Murandanes June 1 on felony charges including attempted murder, first-degree robbery, attempted first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, first-degree theft. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on more than $2 million bail. Vehicle Elude — Kevin Lyle Cory, 44, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Cory Friday on a felony warrant for attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended, a misdemeanor warrant charging reckless driving, warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and driving while suspended, and for violating his probation on a previous conviction for possessing substances with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance. He was booked in the jail Friday and released because of overcrowding. Drug Possession — David Paul Reed, 27, of the 600 block of East Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Reed Friday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Drug Possession — Thomas Carl Ruth, 48, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers and Medford police arrested Ruth Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender, possessing methamphetamine and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Drug Possession — Orion Star Maxfield, 30, of the 9600 block of Wagner Creek Road, Talent. Talent police arrested Maxfield Friday on felony charges of possessing heroin and cocaine, and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance. Drug Possession — Clinton Tylor Anchors, 25, of the 1200 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Anchors Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance. Court Appearance — Herbert S. Hellyer, 72, of the 3700 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. On Friday, Hellyer made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance. Drug Possession — Jacob Daniel McFadden, 28, of the 400 block of Broadway Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested McFadden Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of menacing and disorderly conduct, and on out-of-county warrants for heroin possession and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Court Appearance — Kelly Danyel Holmes, 52, of Sacramento, Calif. On Friday, Holmes made a court appearance on a felony charge of identity theft, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree forgery and second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Friday and released on her own recognizance. Drug Possession — Joshua William Taylor, 32, of the first block of Hamilton Street. Medford police arrested Taylor Friday on a felony warrant charging heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Friday on $10,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:31 a.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Serenity Drive. Items reported stolen included assorted DeWalt tools in a tool bag, a pair of Parasuco jeans, assorted clothing, a Lowe's gift card and a company gas card. The loss was valued at $1,635. Burglary — Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 7:18 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Biddle Road. A Swann video surveillance system was reported stolen, and the business' front door was reportedly damaged from being kicked. The loss and damage was valued at $1,000. Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 7:43 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Alma Drive. Four windows were reportedly broken on the vehicle. The damage was valued at $4,000. Burglary — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 8:29 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Alpine Court. A silver Fuji bike was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000. Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism at 10:26 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Posse Lane. Four chain link fences were reportedly cut. The damage was valued at $1,100.
