November 15. 2014 8:13PM Woman in critical condition after being struck by car in Medford A Jackson County crash investigation team is looking into a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision in Medford that sent a woman to the hospital in critical condition Saturday afternoon. According to the Medford Police Department, police and fire personnel took a report about 3:14 p.m. that a driver had struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Crater Lake Avenue and Brookhurst Street. The pedestrian, a 26-year-old woman, had been crossing the street when she was struck, the news release said. Police say the woman — whose name they aren't releasing — is currently listed in critical condition at Rogue Regional Medical Center. The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause of the accident and closed off the intersection Saturday.
