Election 2018: Saturday play reading supports Skinner By Local report Oct 04, 2018 03:57 PM A A A staged reading of a new play by a pair of Ashlanders on Saturday will benefit the campaign of Jamie McLeod-Skinner for Congress. “Late to Love” by Susanne Severeid and Tim Kelly starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the Gresham Room at Ashland Public Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd. The playwrights are also the performers. The modern drama set in Ashland, Oregon, a sophisticated, progressive town of 20,000, tells the story of a mature man and woman struggling to find — one last time — the beauty and passion of youthful innocent love against the backdrop of a world that seems more cynical than idealistic.
