A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday arrested Haile on charges of attempted eluding in a vehicle and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $8,000 bail. Drugs — Deanna Lynn Luther, 24, of the 2900 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Luther on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Tuesday on $5,000 bail. Assault — Dawn Denise Coghill, 43, of the 2300 block of Evan Way, Central Point. A Central Point police officer Tuesday arrested Coghill on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Tuesday on $8,000 bail. Fire call Grass fire — 15000 block of Jones Road, White City. Crews from Jackson County Fire District No. 3 were called just before 10 a.m. Tuesday to extinguish a fire that burned through about 2 acres of grass. Firefighters from the Oregon Department of Forestry also responded to the call, according to a District 3 spokesman.
