Ashland boys triumph ASHLAND � Cameron Voget surpassed the 200-foot mark in the javelin for the first time this season in helping Ashland to a 112-33 victory over Eagle Point in a dual track and field meet Thursday. In the girls meet, Eagle Point turned the tables, 76-65, for its second straight dual win. Megan Cotton of Ashland edged Jessica Derhammer in a competitive 100-meter hurdles race, 16.4 to 16.6. KLAMATH UNION ROLLS � At Klamath Falls, Lauren Jesperson scooted to a state-best in the 1,500 meters and D.J. Munoz won the 100- and 200-meter dashes to fuel the Klamath Union boys to a 95-50 victory over Crater. Jesperson, a sophomore, clocked 3:56.56 to win the 1,500. Teammate Jacob Gomez was close behind in 4:00.85. Sam Gilbert claimed the 100, 300 hurdles and long jump and anchored Klamath Union�s 4X100 relay to victory in leading the Pelican girls to a 98-47 victory. GRANTS PASS BOYS, ROSEBURG GIRLS WIN � At Grants Pass, Roseburg�s Jennifer Lint registered the top Class 4A triple jump in the state and added two more individual victories as the Indian girls romped past Grants Pass 113-32. Lint posted a state best 37-1� in the triple jump to go with victories in the long jump and 110-hurdles. Carly Morris-Picknell turned in another top performance in the discus for the Indians with a 120-0 toss. Grants Pass� boys used a big edge in the field events to trip the Indians, 74�-70�. The Cavemen swept the shot put, long jump and pole vault.
