Central Point police arrested Parks late Friday on charges of unauthorized use of vehicle, driving while suspended and probation violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $8,000 bail. Eluding — Gregory Sean Merritt, 26, of the 3000 block of Sheridan Court, Medford. Central Point police arrested Merritt early Saturday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of hit and run. He was jailed on $30,000 bail.
