Program aimed at landing industrial jobs Monday Jan 22, 2018 at 4:12 PM Jan 22, 2018 at 4:12 PM Rogue Valley Youth for Christ will offer a Real Life boot camp leading to high-demand industrial jobs. The program, funded by a two-year grant from Oregon Youth Development Council, provided free training, equipment, help in finding apprenticeships, internships and careers, along with vocational coaching. The one-week boot camp will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from Jan. 29 through Feb. 2. The boot camp is a launching point toward additional training. Participants will have the opportunity to be trained in a variety of fields, including automotive, sheet metal fabrication and construction. The initial camp still has openings.
