Raiders top Oregon Tech running teams LAKE OF THE WOODS -- Oregon Tech's Brett Long won the 5-mile men's race and Southern Oregon's Alison Garich won the 5-kilometer women's race at a dual cross country meet here Saturday. Long finished in 27 minutes, 21 seconds to win the men's competition, averaging 5:30 per mile. But the Raiders took the next four places and easily won the meet. Sime was timed in 27:33. Garich and teammate Helen Rarick went 1-2 for the SOU women. Garich hit the chute in 21:17 and Rarick in 21:28. Kim Harris made her season debut and finished fourth in 21:44.
