OSU (7-0) starter Daniel Turpen scattered two runs on three hits in six innings to pick up the victory. Georgia (0-3) reliever Trevor Holder took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits in 12/3 innings. With the scored tie at 2, Joey Wong started the winning rally with a single and advanced on another hit by John Wallace. After Mike Lissman popped out for the second out, Canham delivered his three-run homer. The Beavers took a 2-0 lead in the third, taking advantage of a pair of Georgia errors.
