Food, aid available for Almeda fire survivors Saturday By Mail Tribune Updated: Apr 01, 2022 03:05 PM A A From nonperishable food items to housing assistance, a variety of resources will be available for Southern Oregon fire survivors Saturday afternoon. The Fire Relief Center will host a Resource Fair and Pop-Up Supply Distribution event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the site of Coleman Creek Estates near Phoenix at 139 Valley View Drive, Medford, according to a post on ACCESS’ Facebook page. The nonprofit will be joined by the Rogue Action Center, Rogue Food Unites and Rogue Climate to provide survivors still impacted by the Almeda and South Obenchain fires with free nonperishable food, assorted hygiene and cleaning supplies along with information on housing assistance among other resources.
