GOP legislators will address luncheon GRANTS PASS -- The three Republican representatives from the districts that cover Josephine County will speak at a joint luncheon of the Josephine County and Rogue River Republican Women. The luncheon will start at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.J. North's Grand Buffet in the Grants Pass Shopping Center. Reservations are suggested. Call Sharon Davidson, Rogue River president, at 582-0072, or Shirley Byrd at 476-4978. The speakers are Reps. Carl Wilson, R-Grants Pass, whose District 49 covers most of the county; Jason Atkinson, R-Jacksonville, whose District 51 covers a small area in the east adjoining Jackson County; and Susan Morgan, R-Myrtle Creek, whose District 46 covers the northern part. All are completing their first terms. Atkinson has announced he will seek the Senate seat being vacated by Republican Brady Adams of Grants Pass. Wilson and Morgan have not announced plans.
