Medford police arrested Corbitt Tuesday on charges of possession of methadone and Darvon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $6,000 bail. Drugs — Ray Walker Nelson, 32, of the 400 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Nelson Tuesday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Eduardo Ortiz-Rodriguez, 36, of Las Vegas. Central Point police arrested Ortiz-Rodriguez Wednesday on charges of possession of amphetamines and cocaine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $30,000 bail. Drugs — Alejandro Arreola-Alvarez, 32, of North Hill, Calif. Central Point police arrested Arreola- Alvarez Wednesday on charges of possession of amphetamines and cocaine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $30,000 bail. Warrant — Kristina Louise Freniere, 19, no address listed. Medford police arrested Freniere Wednesday on a warrant charging her with seven counts of first-degree forgery, unauthorized use of a vehicle and first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Wednesday night on $50,000 bail. Crime reports Fraud — first block of Northridge Terrace, Phoenix. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Tuesday of the illegal use of a Visa debit card issued by Umpqua Bank. The card was used to buy $600 worth of goods. Burglary — 2700 block of Kerisdale Ridge Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report Tuesday of a theft of a welder and other welding equipment including a helmet, gloves and clamps. The items reported stolen had an estimated value of $1,000. Theft — 700 block of West 14th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Tuesday of a theft of 35 compact disks and a 19-inch color television from a parked vehicle. The estimated value of the items reported stolen and damage to the vehicle totaled $550. Theft — 1600 Skypark Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report Tuesday of a theft of miscellaneous drum equipment, a jacket, duffel bags and garment bags with an estimated value of $2,210. Burglary — 3000 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a burglary at a quick-lube and car-wash business. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the business’s door was damaged. Theft — 3600 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a theft of a Stihl TS400 masonry saw valued at $870. Burglary — 1700 block of Inverness Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a burglary in which a snowboard valued at $550 was reported stolen. Fire calls Carport fire — 2300 block of Bell Court, Medford. Medford firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that burned four cars and a carport at Ivanko Gardens apartment complex at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators believe a car with a bad battery that was left running all night probably sparked the fire, but the investigation continues. Training drill — Sixth Street and Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford firefighters conducted a training drill at the downtown parking garage to simulate a night-time accident and rescue from below on the Interstate 5 viaduct.
