Marsh resigns as Ashland food bank director Pam Marsh Monday Nov 14, 2016 at 2:33 PM Nov 14, 2016 at 2:33 PM The board of directors of the Ashland Emergency Food Bank is searching for a new executive director after Pam Marsh won her bid to serve on the Oregon House of Representatives. “Pam has brought great kindness, dedication and growth to the Ashland Emergency Food Bank during her time as executive director, and she has set the bar very high for our next director," board president Greg Lemhouse said in a news release. Marsh is resigning her post to focus on her new role as representative of House District 5, replacing Peter Buckley, who decided not to run again. The AEFB board hopes to have a new executive director in place as soon as Dec. 12 to allow time for transition before Marsh’s resignation takes effect at the end of December, the release said. A search has begun and interested individuals should send a cover letter and resume to [email protected]. The Ashland Emergency Food Bank has provided food to residents of Ashland, Talent and surrounding rural communities since 1972. Each month, 500 to 600 families representing approximately 1,500 individuals come to the pantry for food, according to the release.
