Prospect, Butte Falls garner all-league selections Nov 18, 2009 12:00 AM A A Prospect and Butte Falls each had three players named to the Mountain Valley League volleyball all-league squads. Prospect senior Kayla Pulley and sophomore Keirstyn Anderson were first-team all-leaguers and teammate Alexis Zeller was a second-team honoree. Sophomore Mariah Moore was a first-team all-league selection for Butte Falls, which also received second-team recognition for Bessie Taylor and Aarika Stephens. Skyler Harrington of Butte Falls was named coach of the year. Mountain Valley League All-Stars First Team — Kayla Pulley, Prospect; Keirstyn Anderson, Prospect; Mariah Moore, Butte Falls; Haley Barnes, Hosanna; Taylor Thompson, Hosanna; Amanda Dark, North Lake; Paige Ward, North Lake. Second Team — Alexis Zeller, Prospect; Bessie Taylor, Butte Falls; Aarika Stephens, Butte Falls; Kali Smith, Gilchrist; Brenna Gravitt, Gilchrist; Macey Chronister, Hosanna; Tessa Weems, Paisley; Tess Parsons, Triad. Player of the Year — Taylor Thompson, Hosanna. Coach of the Year — Skyler Harrington, Butte Falls.
