EAGLE POINT — Law enforcement confirms that they are investigating an officer-involved shooting at a fast food restaurant in Eagle Point that has left one man dead. It happened at 8:45 p.m. at the Carl's Jr. restaurant in Eagle Point. Police shut down the intersection of Linn Road and Highway 62 during the investigation. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation into the shooting that involved an Eagle Point officer. The officer was injured during the encounter but did not need medical attention. The man who was killed has not been identified by authorities.
