He has helped lead Jackson County for the last eight years and done a terrific job. His experience with financial situations, excellent integrity, genuine concern for our community and outstanding knowledge of our local issues make him the perfect person for this job. Please join me in re-electing Rick Dyer for county commissioner! Mike Yonker Medford Vote for Dyer I am supporting Rick Dyer for Jackson County commissioner. Jackson County is a growing metropolitan area and we need a person in this position that will fight through any growing pains we may encounter. The work Rick has done so far as Jackson County commissioner has had such a positive impact within our community. Rick is leading the charge to fight illegal marijuana activity; he fought to deliver much-needed Cares Act money to our area; and has stood strong against higher level government to advocate for our local business community. Rick has demonstrated through his past service that he understands the role of Jackson County commissioner. As our commissioner I have found that Rick listens to all sides of an issue and has offered creative, sensible solutions. For this, I ask you to join me in voting for Rick Dyer for Jackson County commissioner. Teresa Christensen Medford Medford police revenue I am happy that someone had the time and money to question the local police for their use of “revenue making” lights on the four intersections in Medford. If I recall, there was a recent study on the Medford Police Department and they found that the department makes too much revenue on writing tickets. This brings to mind such things as speed traps in school zones. Not everyone is aware of when school is open or closed. Wouldn’t it be in the best interest of everyone, to have flashing school zone lights at every approach to each of the local schools? Or would that be cutting into the “revenue” as well? L.
