Benjamin Charles Williamson is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:45 p.m. in Jackson County Circuit Court in Medford on a felony indictment charging him with attempted murder, first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. Williamson, 34, is accused of stabbing a man he found in his Quincy Street home with Williamson's wife Nov. 3. Williamson left the home and later called 911 to report himself. Williamson, whose only previous record in the county involved a vehicle registration violation, is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $500,000 jail.
