Medford police arrested Young late Saturday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday night on $5,000 bail. Weapons — Nicholas Patrick Neff, 25, of the 100 block of Sandlewood Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Neff early Sunday on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon, fourth-degree assault, menacing, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday night on $20,000 bail. Assault — Stephen Kent Barnett, 42, of the 700 block of East Vilas Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Barnett Sunday on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and violating probation condition of a burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday night without bail. Theft — Darren Lee Heath, 39, of Marysville, Wash. Central Point police arrested Heath Sunday on charges of first-degree theft and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday night on $10,000 bail.
