Medford police arrested Haney Friday on charges of first-degree forgery and first- and second-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Friday night on $14,000 bail. Drugs — Chad Michael Kayser, 26, of the 1800 block of Marsh Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Kayser Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines, first-degree trespassing and failure to appear on past amphetamines-possession charges. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Nathan Wayne Stookey, 18, no address listed. Medford police arrested Stookey Friday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $5,000 bail. Sex Crime — Brandon James Sychla, of the 2600 block of Eagle Circle, White City. Sychla appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging him with a sex crime. He was booked into jail and released. Eluding — Paul Desmond Lendemann, 18, of the 7800 block of Andrea Drive, White City. Lendemann appeared in Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging him with attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was booked into jail and released. Advertisement Crime reports Burglary — first block of West Hersey Street, Ashland. Ashland police took a report Wednesday of $400 cash taken from a locked drawer that was forced open at Upper Room Coffeehouse & Bookstore. Burglary — first block of North First Street, Ashland. Ashland police took a report Thursday of a theft of $150 cash and a $200 coffee-brewing machine from Grizzly Peak Roasting Co. Theft — 100 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland police took a report Friday of a man and woman who allegedly used a victim’s Social Security number to get several credit cards and buy more than $2,000 worth of goods. Police are investigating the incident of first-degree theft, identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Forgery — 1100 block of East Main Street, Ashland. Friday Ashland police discovered a young woman had a fake California driver’s license that misrepresented her age as over 21. She was cited and released on forgery charges.
