A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Harrison on six counts of identity theft, six counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, six counts of second-degree theft and a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $82,000 bail. Identity theft — Jason Ronald Harrison, 32, of the 7500 block of Division Road, White City. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Harrison on two counts of identity theft, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Vehicle theft — Bryan Spencer Lowery, 41, of Bay City, Texas. An Oregon State Police trooper Thursday arrested Lowery on a charge of unlawful use of a vehicle. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Theft — Arthur Louis Murray, 39, of the 1100 block of North Modoc Avenue, Medford. Murray appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Theft, identity theft — Natale Joseph Daleo, 52, of the 4100 block of Avenue A, White City. Daleo appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with aggravated first-degree theft and identity theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Eluding — Robert Lee McCollum Jr., 38, no known address. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested McCollum on warrants charging him with three counts of attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle and failure to appear in court, along with a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Advertisement Assault — Michael Graham Swinger Jr., 36, of the 3700 block of Avenue G, White City. A sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Swinger on warrants charging him with two counts of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $4,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 2000 block of Kingswood Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a Multiquip-brand plate compactor valued at $2,500 was stolen. Burglary — 600 block of South Valley View Road, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole items valued at $50. Burglary — 4200 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. A sheriff’s deputy Wednesday took a report of a burglary to a home. Damages were valued at $400. Miscellaneous Theft investigation — Medford police teamed with Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Thursday to serve a search warrant at a Central Point property where they recovered several stolen items that investigators say were possibly up for sale on an Internet auction site. Darell Wayne May, 36, faces charges of unlawful use of a vehicle and first-degree theft in connection with the discovery of stolen items at his home in the 11000 block of Blackwell Road, Medford police Sgt. Tim Doney said. May, who was being held late Thursday in the Jackson County Jail on $50,000 bail, was also arrested on warrants charging him with failure to appear in court. Doney said investigators believe May was attempting to sell some of the stolen goods on eBay. Police served the warrant as part of an investigation into a case in which a motorcycle reported stolen from Douglas County was found in Jackson County, Doney said. Donald Bryan Haskett, 38, was arrested at the home on warrants charging him with failure to appear in court. He was being held late Thursday in jail on $9,000 bail. Burglaries — Police are reminding people to lock their house and garage doors at night, after three nighttime burglaries at inhabited Medford homes were reported in the past week. At 3:23 a.m. Thursday, a resident of a home in the 700 block of Queens Drive called 9-1-1 to report that he was awakened after at least one person had entered his house. The burglar, who possibly gained access to the home through an unsecured garage door, fled after removing several items from the house, including the keys to a Chevy Tahoe parked in the garage, Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said. A truck door had been opened, but the burglar dropped the keys in the driveway while running from the scene after the resident awoke. Two similar burglaries of occupied homes were reported last week, one in the 1100 block of Stevens Street, the other in the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue.
