When a young man who lives at a home in the 1700 block of Alexis Way answered a knock at the door about 8:30 a.m., a man carrying a large-caliber revolver pushed his way into the house, Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said. Then the armed man let another man in the back door. The two robbers tied up the resident and took some inexpensive household items that police declined to identify. After freeing himself, the victim called police shortly after 9 a.m. He wasn’t hurt. The gunman was Hispanic, in his mid-20s, about 5-9, 170. He had short hair, a mustache and tattoos on his neck. He wore a red shirt and jeans, police said. The second man was 6-feet, 109, and wore a hooded sweatshirt, a camo jacket and a ski mask. Advertisement Police hope someone saw the two men in the relatively new subdivision off Orchard Home Drive and might be able to link them to a vehicle, Moran said. Anyone with information can call police at 770-4783.
