The usual $5 day-use parking fee will be waived on Jan. 1. At TouVelle State Park, an easy, all-ages, 1.5-mile hike along the TouVelle Rivers Edge Trail will be from 11 a.m. to noon starting at Picnic Area A. Participants will learn about the Rogue Valley in the 1850s during the hike. Pets on leashes are welcome. The hike at Valley of the Rogue State Park will be from 11 a.m. to noon starting at the Program Area. Park ranger Travis Tastove will lead the hike, which will focus on local flora and fauna.
