Kinney wins; Cavers add to SOC lead ROSEBURG � North Medford High�s Tai Kinney picked up her fifth girls golf tournament win this season in an all-Southern Oregon Conference meet Monday at the Roseburg Country Club. Kinney, who is undefeated in league play over the past two years, shot a 3-over-par 75 to lead the Black Tornado to a fourth-place finish. Grants Pass, led by Johnna Nealy�s second-place 78, grabbed the top spot, securing their overall conference lead at the halfway point of the season. College Track & Field LINCOLN IN LEAD AFTER DAY 1 � At Ashland, Southern Oregon University�s Laura Lincoln and Oregon Tech�s Matt Ehrenstrom each earned narrow leads after the first day of the Cascade Conference track and field multi-event championships at Raider Stadium on Monday. Lincoln achieved personal bests in the high jump (4-foot-10�), shot put (31-5�) and 200-meters (27.63) en route to 2,445 points in the heptathlon. OIT�s Trina Ogburn is in second with 2,303. Lincoln, who finished third in the heptathlon last season with 3,945 points, is 45 ahead of last year�s pace through four of the seven events. On the men�s side, Ehrenstrom won three of five events, picking up 3,272 points.
