Emergency services, May 8 By Mail Tribune staff May 08, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Aggravated Theft — Christian Douglas Cochran, 25, of the 12200 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cochran Thursday on a felony charge of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft, first-degree burglary, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, interfering with police, first-degree trespassing and second-degree criminal mischief, and warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of aggravated theft, theft, elude and criminal mischief charges. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $151,000 bail. Contraband — Christopher Robert Agudo Socia, 29, of Portland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Socia Thursday on a felony charge of supplying contraband, and for violating his parole on a prior conviction for delivering heroin. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Assault — Joshua Craig Wilson, 30, of the 100 block of Lani Way, Talent. Talent police arrested Wilson Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the jail THursday and released Friday after posting bond. Robbery — John Austin Bratton, 41, of the 100 block of Northridge Road, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Bratton Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, second-degree theft, and failing to report to jail on a prior driving under the influence of intoxicants conviction. Bratton was additionally sentenced Friday on a prior unlawful use of a weapon conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Kyle Wayne Crandell, 30, of the 1400 block of Flower Street, Medford. On Friday, Crandell made a court appearance on felony charges of possessing heroin and first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft, heroin possession and interfering with police. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Crandell Thursday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree theft and heroin possession. He was held in jail Friday on $175,000 bail. Sex Offender — Justin Howard Hendrickson, 28, of the 200 block of Wilson Road, Central point. Medford police arrested Hendrickson Friday on a felony charge of failing to report as a sex offender. He was held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail. Drugs — Malia Kayann Masonheimer, 28, of the first block of Lowe Road, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Masonheimer Friday on felony warrants charging her with possessing heroin and methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants charging her with providing false information to a police officer and violating her probation on prior convictions of supplying contraband, delivering and possessing meth, and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. She was held in jail Friday on $47,500 bail. Assault — Alofaaga Janet Matautia, 27, of the 1100 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Matautia Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was held in jail Friday on $12,500 bail. Coercion — Michael Graham Swinger, 52, of the 13700 block of Antioch Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Swinger Friday on a felony charge of coercion, and misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.
