A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Iniguez late Wednesday on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed gun and possessing amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released Thursday when he posted cash on $14,000 bail. Drugs — Theresa Larose West, 37, of the 100 block of Glass Lane, White City. Central Point police arrested West Thursday on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was lodged in jail, then released on her own recognizance. Eluding — Adam Bertrand Saunders, 25, no address listed. Eagle Point police arrested Saunders after a pursuit Thursday night on a charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night. Drugs — Dana Lee Cassley, 44, of the 3400 block of Butte Falls Highway, Eagle Point. Cassley appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Anne May Hunt, 28, of the 900 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Hunt appeared in Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines and two counts of first-degree child neglect. She was booked into jail and released. Advertisement Theft — Sandra Eve Moore, 28, of the 1900 block of Parkwood Avenue, Central Point. Moore appeared in Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Theft — First block of Peninger Road, Central Point. A sheriff’s deputy took a report of the theft of $2,000 worth of tools from Smokey’s Playland at the fairgrounds. Fire calls Lightning strikes — Oregon Department of Forestry, Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management crews knocked out six small fires caused by Tuesday night’s electrical storm. Several fires were sparked east of Siskiyou Summit near the California border and others clustered on Jackson County’s eastern edge near Butte Falls. All fires were held to less than an acre, officials reported. Fire officials said slow-smoldering "sleeper" fires caused by this week’s storms could spring to life later when heat and wind create ideal burning conditions.
