GP man accused of abusing 15-year-old By Mail Tribune staff Oct 13, 2022 05:11 PM A A A Grants Pass man was arrested on a charge accusing him of sexually abusing an underage girl. Robert James Charlan, 32, of Grants Pass, was arrested Thursday on a single charge of second-degree sexual abuse alleging he subjected a 15-year-old female juvenile to unspecified abuses in August, according to a news advisory issued by Grants Pass police. Police are asking anyone who may have more information about Charlan or his arrest to call Grants Pass detectives and reference case No. 22-38822. As of Thursday evening, charges had not yet been filed by the Josephine County District Attorney’s office.
