Graphic testimony stills courtroom 13-year-old details sexual encounter in rape-drugs case By CHRIS BRISTOL In graphic detail, a 13-year-old girl described having multiple sexual encounters with two men during a party last summer at her mother's Medford apartment. "What's weird is, I'm saying this in slow motion," the girl told a stunned Jackson County jury Thursday, "but it was going on so fast." The girl's mother, Lynda Hill, cried briefly when her daughter first took the witness stand Thursday. Hill, 39, had not seen her daughter since Hill was arrested in August and jailed on charges that she let three men have sex with her daughter for drugs. Three male suspects are also on trial with Hill this week before the same jury. The defendants face long prison sentences if convicted on charges that include felony rape and sodomy. The girl, who looks and speaks like a typical 8th-grader, testified that she went into a back bedroom with one of the defendants, Lamar Esquire McKenzie, shortly after the impromptu get-together got under way. She said McKenzie, 30, had been giving her "a look" that she interpreted as flirty and flattering. She went with him willingly. "I guess I sorta knew, 'Wow, I'm in a room alone with a guy, and he's a lot older than me,"' the girl testified. "I started wondering, 'What happens next?"' What happened next, as described by the alleged victim, left the courtroom hushed and in noticeable discomfort. The girl said she performed oral sex on McKenzie at least twice and had sex with him and his cousin, 39-year-old Johnny "JC" Carter. She even described a sexual encounter with both men at the same time. The girl said that at one point her 11-year-old sister came into the room and watched from the top bunk. Then her mother came in and shooed the younger girl out. "She told us, "Keep it cool in here, you guys,"' the girl testified, matter-of-factly describing the compromising position she and McKenzie were in at that moment. In addition to the rape and sodomy charges, Hill is accused of prostituting her daughter. Prosecutor Judi Harper alleges Hill allowed, even encouraged, what happened for free drugs. Trial judge Patricia Crain recessed for the evening Thursday before the girl finished testifying. The case is set to resume at 8:30 this morning. The girl is expected to describe an encounter with the third male defendant, Anthony Dewayne Smith. In opening statements Wednesday, Hill's defense attorney said her client was too drunk to remember what happened. One of her ex-husbands now has custody of the girl. Hill has lost custody of all seven of her children. Attorneys for Carter and Smith, 32, said their clients admit being at the party, using drugs and receiving oral sex from Hill. But their clients deny having had sex with the girl. Carter may testify. McKenzie's lawyer said his client wasn't there that night and can prove it. However, a defense investigator testified Thursday that the girl identified McKenzie in a photo lineup.
