He was born April 28, 1953 at Rogue Valley Medical Center to John L. Wyncoop Sr. and Rosemarie "Rosie" Olson-Wyncoop. Johnny and Patricia Wyncoop (Kain) were married December 21, 1972 in Medford, Ore. Johnny served in the U.S Navy and was stationed on a ship in Vietnam in 1972. Johnny was a member of the Rogue Valley Racing Association for over 30 years. He loved to drive his Dirt Track race cars up and down the West coast at various race tracks. He earned the nickname "The Wildman" due to his aggressive driving style. His favorite tracks included the Old Medford race track on Posse Lane and Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Ore. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to camp. His all-time favorite passion was spending time with his family. He was a very loving grandfather who doted on all his grandkids. They were his world. Johnny is survived by his wife, Patricia Wyncoop; sons, Jason Wyncoop Sr. and Bradley Wyncoop; daughter, Marlana Wyncoop-Pruitt; father, John Wyncoop Sr.; sister, Donna Carlson; and grandchildren, Jordan Wyncoop, Daniel Wyncoop, Hailey Wyncoop, Jason Wyncoop Jr. and Peyton Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemarie "Rosie" Wyncoop. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Perl Funeral Home and Siskiyou Park.
