Yogurt Hut event raising funds for youth organ transplants May 02, 2014 12:00 AM A A Starting Saturday, May 3, the Rogue Valley's four Yogurt Hut locations will contribute a percentage of their sales to the Children's Organ Transplant Association through May 31. "Celebrate Helen Month" is in honor of 3-year-old Helen Lynn, of Medford, who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease last summer. A kidney transplant has been recommended by her doctors at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, and volunteers are trying to raise $75,000 for the operation. Mention "Helen's birthday" when making a purchase at Yogurt Hut to donate. For more information, visit www.COTAforHelenL.com.
