Coolidge fifth at nationals SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Trevor Coolidge of White City placed fifth in the intermediate boys (15-16) division at the U.S. Amateur Track Federation National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships Saturday. Coolidge, 16, was part of a four-runner Rogue Valley youth group representing the Southern Oregon Sizzlers at the national meet. Coolidge completed the 5K course in a time of 16 minutes, 8 seconds. The St. Mary's High junior finished 19th in this race last year. The winner was Justin Corelli of Lathan, New York, with a time of 15:40. Nathan Love and Warren Clarida of Rogue River competed in the young men's (17-18) division. Love finished 83rd with a 5K time of 17:05, while Clarida was 106th with a time of 17:32. Nathan May of Phoenix competed in the youth boys (13-14) division. May finished 74th with a 4K time of 14:15. At the Footlocker High School Cross Country championships at Orlando, Fla., Ian Dobson of Klamath Falls took third place with a time of 14:34.2 in the 5K.
