Information sought to aid in search for missing man By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jun 04, 2022 06:28 PM A A Last seen traveling by foot to downtown Ashland Authorities are searching for a man last seen Monday on South Valley View Road in Ashland. Harold Marcrum, 26, is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with black shoes. Marcrum took his laptop computer but left his wallet and cell phone behind. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported that Marcrum told his brother on Monday he was going for a walk on the Greenway from South Valley View Road to downtown Ashland. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. The brothers have been living in Ashland for work but are from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. JCSO Search and Rescue is searching for Marcrum in the area. Anyone with information or who knows anything about his whereabouts is asked to call Sgt. Shawn Richards at 541-591-1843 and refer to case no. 22-3074.
