Medford police Monday arrested Peden on two counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail. Hit/run — Lestur Lane Bostwick, 42, of the 600 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. Central Point police Monday arrested Bostwick on charges of hit-and-run driving with an injury, fourth-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $24,000 bail. Kidnap — Aurie Mereno, 25, of the 1100 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Mereno on one count each of second-degree kidnapping, third-degree robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, harassment, second-degree criminal mischief, interfering with a police report, telephonic harassment, second-degree theft, and endangering the welfare of another person. He was lodged in jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of more than $1 million bail. Sex offender registration — Shellie Grace Jones, 49, of the 1400 block of Carolyn Circle, Medford. Central Point police Monday arrested Jones on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. She was lodged in jail, where she was released Monday on bail. Drugs — Kevin Jeffrey Blum, 23, of the 3500 block of Excel Drive, Medford. Blum made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked Monday at the Jackson County Jail and released. Drug record tampering — Jennifer Lynn Hoie, 38, of the 8000 block of Copco Road, Ashland. Ashland police Monday arrested Hoie on five counts of tampering with drug records, five counts of prescription fraud, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. She was lodged in jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $49,000 bail. Fugitive — Steve Thomas Witherly, 33, no address available.
