Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend April 27, 2006 Since You Asked Awhile back, the Mail Tribune ran a story about a new business that was supposed to be moving into the valley soon called Amy's Kitchen. It said they manufactured frozen organic foods. Any new word on them, like are they still on their way, and if so, when will they open? -- Gloria K., Central Point This is no ordinary kitchen, Gloria. A quick trip out Table Rock Road to White City reveals that Amy's Kitchen's new production plant on Antelope Road is rapidly taking shape. According to Tom Hall of S&B James Construction, which is building the 165,000-square-foot facility, workers are in the midst of installing more than a mile of sewer lines on the site right now. The Santa Rosa, Calif., company is on pace to begin turning out product at the new site this fall. Amy's Kitchen is somewhat like the Stouffer's equivalent in the vegetarian world, selling reheat and ready-to-eat meals ranging from soups to pizzas.
