According to a Klamath Falls Police Department news release, officers arrested Elric Vincent Shelby in connection with the shooting a 20-year-old man  the 900 block of Owens Street in Klamath Falls.  Police said they responded to reports of a shooting at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found the man with the gunshot injuries. The shooter had fled. Police said they are still investigating the incident and do not know what provoked the attack. The victim was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center and was listed in good condition, police said.  Officers tracked Shelby to his home in the 200 block of North Eldorado Avenue and made attempts to call him outside, the release said, but no one answered or came out. Early this morning, police obtained a search warrant to enter the home but they could not find Shelby. Shelby was later located in the 4000 block of Adelaide Avenue in Klamath Falls, the release said. Police didn't specify what Shelby will be charged with.
