An Ashland police officer Tuesday added a charge of assaulting a police officer against Seaward, who was jailed last December on a murder charge. She remains held in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Vehicle theft — Wyatt William Snyder, 28, no known address. A Central Point police officer Tuesday arrested Snyder on charges of unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of a substance with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance and failure to appear in court, along with two out-of-county warrants. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $51,000 bail. Drugs — Heidi Goldsmith, 45, no known address. A Shady Cove police officer Tuesday arrested Goldsmith on charges of possession of amphetamines, manufacturing amphetamines, delivering amphetamines, disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree trespass and harassment. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Tuesday on $36,000 bail. Vehicle theft, theft — Jonathan Alexander Doug Wilcox, 19, of Wilsonville. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday arrested Wilcox, a state prisoner, on warrants charging him with unlawful use of a vehicle, first-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs, weapons — Nicholaus Allen Knickerbocker, 22, of the 100 block of North Pacific Highway, Talent. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Knickerbocker on charges of possession of amphetamines, being a felon in possession of a weapon and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Victor Clarence Robinson, 23, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Robinson on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $3,000 bail. Attempted assault — John Michael Piatkin, 33, of the 1100 block of Rogue Valley Drive, Central Point. An Ashland police officer Tuesday arrested Piatkin on charges of attempted second-degree assault, reckless endangering and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $9,000 bail. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 136 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 230 inmates. Of those, 43 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 37 were granted an early release from a sentence and 56 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
