Her friends who live out of state would like to know. — Larry Todd Levi Wilcox, 36, remains lodged in the Jackson County Jail with no bail on charges of murder and first-degree manslaughter. He allegedly killed Stormo, 23, July 26, 2016, in the Applegate Valley in what investigators believe was a domestic-violence related homicide. It’s not unusual, Larry, for murder cases to take a year or more to resolve. Wilcox sent a letter to the court complaining about his court-appointed defense lawyer in December 2016, and was given a new lawyer this year, court records show. Since Wilcox’s arrest, the court has approved several motions for continuances in the case.
