Del Notre trips Crater in soccer DEL NORTE, Calif . -- Holly Guttierez scored two goals for Del Norte, Calif., in their 4-3 non-conference victory over Crater on Monday. Crater's Tessa Austermuehler tied the match at 1-1 with a goal at the 11-minute mark before Guttierez rattled home consecutive scores at the 19th and 28th minute. After Trailing 4-2 at the half, the Comets' Stacey Schmelzer scored at the 51st minute. Crater (1-6-1 overall) outshot Del Norte 19-8 and had the potential tying goal waved off after an off-sides penalty. Jesse Foster and Lindsey Monroe split time at the goalie position for the Comets, with each making numerous point-blank-range saves. Becky Doshier scored a goal and had a stellar game distributing the ball and making plays as a Crater midfielder, said coach Terry Fetz.
