Instead, you admirably had a variety of answers to this question: When you have visitors from out-of-state, what’s the one thing in the Rogue Valley you tell them that they "have to see?" Please take a moment to read through the answers, and take part in answering our new question. Advertisement Crater Lake National Park. It is and always will be a destination for anyone wanting to see a pristine lake and forest. — Victoria, Central Point This is a no-brainer, everyone must experience Crater Lake. We are so lucky to have this beautiful monument in our own back yard. — Chris Gerschler, Medford There is so much beauty in Southern Oregon that this is really a tough question. I highly recommend to take a drive along Hwy. 199 to the coast, then drive up the coast highway. Another nice drive and a must see is Hwy. 62 to at least Diamond Lake. It is fun and the whole family can enjoy it.
