Man injured in Medford parking lot shooting By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Dec 01, 2021 07:16 AM A A One man is injured and a suspect is outstanding following a Tuesday evening shooting near east Medford apartment complexes. At 6:49 p.m., 911 dispatchers got reports of an adult man stating he’d been shot in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Poplar Drive, according to a release issued by Medford police. First-responders including police and Mercy Flights paramedics rushed the man to a nearby hospital, where as of shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday he was reported to be conscious and in stable condition. Police have not identified the victim in the shooting. Detectives are currently working the case trying to determine a suspect; however, police believe there’s no further threat to the public. “The investigators believe that the victim knows who the shooter is, however, has been uncooperative in the investigation,” the release states.
