Russell James Smelser Jr. Sunday Oct 11, 2015 at 2:00 AM Russell James Smelser Jr. Russell James Smelser Jr., 61, passed away at his home in Talent, Ore., Monday September 28, 2015 of undetermined natural causes. Russ is survived by his wife, Beining; her daughter, Nisha; and his siblings, JudyAnn Masters, Jeanne Anderson, Joe Smelser, Maggie Merkley, Mary Smelser-Dean, and Richard Smelser. Russ was a local real estate investor and had an import business. His life was celebrated in a private family ceremony at a local mortuary last Friday, October 2, 2015.
