FCC RELAXES FREEZE ON ACCEPTANCE OF EDUCATIONAL FM APPLICATIONS
In a partial relaxation of the freeze on applications for FM educational
channels announced December 28, 1984, the Commission will now accept for
filing applications for FM educational facilities on channels 201 through
220 PROVIDED that the FM station has reached agreements with potentially
affected TV channel 6 stations. The agreement(s), signed by all parties,
must be filed with the FM application.
Action by the Commission January 28, 1985 by Public Notice. Commissioners
Fowler (Chairman), Quello, Dawson, Rivera and Patrick.
