Organization: NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ALLERGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES Fiscal Year: 2024 Award: $85,255 Funding agency: National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases This interagency agreement leverages the research capabilities, expertise, and interests of NIAID and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to respond to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Under this IAA, VHA research sites will participate in the ACTIV umbrella clinical research studies on candidate medical countermeasures against COVID-19 and other respiratory viral illnesses, including candidate monoclonal antibodies, antiviral drugs, immunomodulators, and other new or repurposed investigational drugs with differing mechanisms of action.
